The (So) Standard English Page:
Standard English is what people mean when they say, "good" or "bad" English.
This program focuses on Standard English, because it is the dialect that is generally the most appropriate to use in school. Also, as an air breathing human being, you are already an expert in the many other dialects you use outside of school/work.
If you're an enquiring mind who wants to know more, check out "Why Standard English " and/or the Dialogue about Standard English.
