Sentence Parts

 

The (Suggestive) Sentence Parts Page:

A "sentence" is a gathering of words fitting together in a way as to describe a thought.

You can find out more about what a sentence is/does by learning about its parts.

Knowing sentence parts can also help you understand the logic of [[StandardEnglish]].

What else it's good for is to impress people at parties, but that's another program.

Crazy Sentence Thing:  The following is a complete, logical sentence, although, actually, it's more of a freak of nature.  If you can't figure it out, do what I did, follow the link to an explanation of the sentence on Wikipedia.  Hint, notice which words are capitalized.
