Here's the deal: In this program you will use the writing process to learn writing skills.
That's pretty much it, except for the specifics.
Here's one real big specific: There are two ways to work the program.
- Your way. Create your own path to learn what you need to learn. Discover what your sweet young heart needs to discover. Gain the cosmic insights etc...
- My way. A suggested approach to learning I call--ta-da--the Learnatron !
| The "Learnatron Way":
For each skill, you are asked to do three things:
- write what you already know about the skill.
- write what you discover about the skill.
- teach the skill to a fictitious student called a "MOP".
The Learnatron Page will lead you through each of these steps. And there is a nifty, EZ Print Directionsset of directions as well as a Directions Page.

Your Way: Well it is your way, but here are a few suggestions:
- Use the site's search button listed on the right, or click "Search" in the right hand column to look up a specific skill. (Click on the tool button if you don't have a right hand column).
- You may also want to browse the Information Page. Go to the skill and get what you need.
- Look around the Writing section and find something to help you with a current assignment.
- Browse to your heart's content.
- Change, modify, adapt the Learnatron method to better suit who you are and what you're doing.
